About the Institute
The Center for Leadership, Enrichment, Access, and Discovery's Student Leadership Institute offers a unique, year-long program carefully designed for aspiring student leaders to develop their leadership skills and advance their careers. To help students succeed in college and after graduation, Institute programs focus on practical skills and knowledge through hands-on learning. Selected workshops and activities will equip students with real-world leadership skills, enabling them to be confident in themselves and inspire others.
Throughout the year, the Institute will host engaging workshops focused on critical leadership skills for daily life, including communication and conflict resolution. With these dynamic sessions, students will actively participate, practice new techniques, and receive instant feedback from Leadership Institute partners. The program also includes real-world experiences, such as visiting 4-year college campuses and government facilities to gain insight into future pathways. These visits will broaden the students' perspectives and help them understand the role of leadership in their community.
