Accessibility Services

Accessibility Services at Northeast State offers a variety of accommodations and assistance to qualifying students who register with our office in an effort to increase inclusion across our campuses. Reasonable accommodations are reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis.

To learn more about services contact Accessibility Services at 423.279.7640 Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

New Students Registering for Services

To obtain accommodations or support services through the Accessibility Services office:

  1. Complete the Request for Services form.
  2. Provide appropriate documentation of disability.
  3. Schedule and Attend a Needs Assessment

During the Needs Assessment, the coordinator will engage in an interactive conversation about how your disability affects you, as well as the accommodations needed to address that impact. The goal of Accessibility Services is to ensure that students have an equal educational opportunity during their time as a student at Northeast State. Upon completion of the registration process students will request their term specific accommodation letter at the beginning of each new term using the online request form.
