Our mission is to support all students in their journey towards access and success. We achieve this through leadership development, cultivating a sense of belonging, and providing opportunities for engagement and enrichment.

 

Our Programming

The LEAD Center's programming equips you with the skills, resources, and support to thrive academically, develop as a leader, and find your place in the Northeast State community. Plus, you'll meet inspiring peers, participate in engaging workshops, and maybe even win some cool prizes – it's the perfect place to launch your journey at Northeast State!

 

Heritage Events

Northeast State's a vibrant mix of cultures, and the LEAD Center is your home base to explore it all. Share your heritage with us! Participate in upcoming cultural events (check out our calendar!), connect with people from similar backgrounds, or just bring your traditions to our welcoming space. The LEAD Center is all about learning from each other and making Northeast State a place where everyone feels like they belong. We're always looking for new ways to celebrate the amazing community we have here.

Leadership Institute

This dynamic learning community equips you with the skills and confidence to thrive through interactive workshops and engaging networking events. Sharpen your leadership abilities, discover your unique voice, and make the most of your college experience – all on designated Fridays for just one hour. Join a supportive community of peers and become the leader you were meant to be!

BEARS Academy

Looking for a summer adventure that jumpstart your learning and sets you on the path to success? Look no further than the BEARS Academy Summer Program! We offer a dynamic and enriching experience for incoming students, packed with engaging activities, delicious lunches, personalized support, and tons of fun.

Participants also receive exclusive merchandise and a scholarship for completing the Academy!
