Professional Licensure and Certification Disclosures
Northeast State Community College offers certificate programs and associate degrees that may lead to professional licensure and/or certification required for employment in Tennessee. Requirements for licensure and certification in other states —as well as other requirements for eligibility of employment—may vary. Consequently, completion of a Northeast State certificate program or degree program may not meet requirements in other U.S. states or territories. Students should be aware that licensing and certifying authorities for each state and territory establish and enforce their own requirements and standards, which are always subject to change. To assist students who currently live in a state other than Tennessee or intend to move to a state other than Tennessee, information found at the link below may provide assistance in learning about specific requirements for obtaining licensure or certification in other U.S. states and U.S territories.
