The information on this page is provided to assist students who currently live in a state other than Tennessee or intend to move to a state other than Tennessee who plan to use the training and education completed at Northeast State to seek professional licensure or certification in that state. These students should be aware there may be additional requirements for obtaining licensure or certification in each state. Students are encouraged to contact the appropriate licensing or certifying agency in the relevant state regarding the specific requirements.

Upon successful completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the National Certifying Examination to become a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
