Our dedicated Campus Police are committed to ensuring your safety and well-being on campus. Here's how they can assist you:

  • Escorting students to and from class if safety concerns arise
  • Providing transportation to a place of safety, such as a shelter or safe residence
  • Offering guidance on obtaining an Order of Protection
  • Assisting students in pursuing an arrest warrant against alleged assailants of sexual violence by facilitating transportation to local law enforcement agencies

Counseling Services

Our Counseling Services provide confidential support for students who have experienced sexual assault. Contact Counseling Services at 423.323.0211 or email counseling@NortheastState.edu. You can find the office located in the General Studies Building, Room C2101.

Our counselors offer:

  • Emotional support and guidance for survivors of sexual assault
  • Assistance with confidential reporting
  • Referrals to community resources for additional support

Safe Areas

Safe Areas offer victims of violent acts a private and safe environment to seek support and assistance. We encourage all students and employees to report incidents of sexual violence. Look for the Safe Area logo displayed prominently in designated offices across each campus.
